Day Four

I've left you some long posts the last few days, faithful reader. To make up for it I'll tell you about today...in pictures only. (Ok, I've partly run out of time because when I got back I watched 3:10 to Yuma - another Western!) Glean what you can from these snapshots - they're only a taste of today's 13-hour whirlwind tour.

Greetings, Immersees!

I just took a quick trip through the blog postings and will be asking our Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church on-line prayer community to keep you in prayer during your J-term experience.

Hope is home to Dr. Dennis Gengenbach, and many more of his brothers and sisters in Christ who share his passion for rural life and ministry. What a joy to be his pastor, and what a joy for him to be able to interact with the newest leaders of Christ's church as he does each year on his visit to LSTC. Listen well to him -- he knows his stuff and he his depth and integration of faith and farming are amazing.

Hope has hosted two immersion groups from LSTC since 2002 and we are really looking forward to the year when we can have a group back again. (We know, we need to share the experience with other sites, but we'd be glad to host a group EVERY year!)

Godspeed, and remember to check a preference for Nebraska when time comes to fill out those first call papers.

In Christ,
Rev. Cathi Braasch (LSTC 2003)
